BODY MASS INDEX
• Body mass index (BMI) is measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. It can be used to indicate if a person is overweight, underweight or within normal limits.

BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING

• Employees’ blood pressure will be measured and they will be informed whether it is within an acceptable range for their age and sex.

BLOOD GLUCOSE SCREENING
• A drop of blood is necessary to determine the blood glucose level. Employees will be referred to their doctors should any abnormal blood glucose levels be detected during the screening process.

BLOOD CHOLESTEROL SCREENING

• Blood cholesterol meters are utilised to screen the cholesterol levels. Employees will be referred to their doctors should any abnormal blood cholesterol levels be detected during the screening procedure.

HIV SCREENING
A HIV Test will be conducted. Any positive members will be counselled and referred to their general practitioner for treatment
